I'm Aaron Bench.
I founded Nuclios to turn complex, familiar problems into software people can actually use.
My career has taken me from economics and operations research to data science and technology leadership. Today I serve as a chief information officer, guiding IT strategy, cybersecurity, cloud modernization, and application development in a large public-sector organization. Earlier, I led teams of analysts and data scientists working through difficult operational questions.

Much of my career has been spent examining large organizational problems: how teams, technology, and processes work together, and where the work breaks down. Through operations research, data science, and process improvement, I have helped teams make sense of complex systems and turn that understanding into better ways of working.
At Nuclios, we bring that systems thinking to software development. We look at the full workflow—how information moves, where decisions happen, and what gets in people's way—then build around what people actually need. The result is applications built around the work people need to do, rather than forcing their processes to fit the software.
